Parker Layne Johnson - James and Sarah Johnson
20 July 2004

I had high blood pressure toward the end of my pregnancy resulting in bed rest; the last two weeks I had an ultrasound every other day.  Other than this my pregnancy had been ideal.  I'd been healthier than I'd ever been before and only gained 35 pounds.  I was induced 2 days before my due date and after 32 hours, I had Parker vaginally.

My daughter was born  with undiagnosed VP.  Seconds after delivery my doctor said "look at this" to the nurse and proceeded to tell me she was a miracle baby.  The nurse didn't even know how to spell Vasa Previa....the doctor spelled it out to her.  These are moments I'll NEVER forget.  It was before I'd even held her.  I didn't sleep the rest of my hospital stay and she didn't leave me sight.  I'll always be grateful!
