Sophie's Walk in Thunder Bay honors two very special vasa previa miracles, Tyra Dove Helen Lambert-Tiboni and Nathan Hardy.

Vickers Park

We had a great walk!  Everyone had fun. We had signs and banners and people honked in support while we were walking. We had prizes and snacks afterwards. The moms and babies each received a purple teddy and the children received T-shirts, all donated by the local walk hosts. As we let balloons float to the sky I said a prayer in memory and honour of all vasa previa babies. Both The Source and the Chronicle Journal had articles about vasa previa and the walk.
